Free Initial Consultations
We offer a free initial consultation with our probate law solicitors. This enables prospective clients to get a feel for our firm and build a rapport with the lawyer.
While we cannot review paperwork, provide detailed legal advice, or draft documents during an initial consultation, we will be able to talk you through your options so that you can make an informed choice about how to proceed.
You will receive a clear idea of what our costs will be from the outset. We will provide you with a quote or cost estimate for the work involved. This will also be confirmed in writing after the meeting. You will therefore know exactly what our fees will be, with no nasty surprises.
Community Relationships
We pride ourselves with building relationship with other professionals and as we are usually the first point of contact, we will be able to direct you to a suitable professional if needed.
If you wish to discuss estate planning and inheritance tax, it is useful to speak to us first and take advantage of our free initial meeting. Where we can advise then we will do so. If not then we can refer you to a financial advisor or accountant. We do not receive any referral fees and therefore any involvement of another professional is simply because we have a good relationship with them and know they can help you.
These relationships allow us to ensure that the estate administration process is extremely smooth running. We have contacts for valuers, clearance companies, estate agents, accountants and others. This means you do not need to worry about locating other trusted professionals.

If you are local to one our offices, we will be happy visit you at home. We appreciate that not all clients can come to our office whether its due to transport or health and therefore we can arrange a home visit to take instructions at home. This also includes visits to care homes, hospitals or a convenient meeting spot. We will confirm the total cost of the home visit when you make the booking.
Charity work and relationships
We pride ourselves with working with local and national charities. We are part of the free national Wills network which allows our clients to have a simple free Will in exchange for giving money to charity. We have also offered a free Will week for BASICS a charity which includes a team of qualified doctors, nurses and medical practitioners who are first responders.
